    Okra Blossom - Andrea Meyers

The elusive okra blossom that I’ve been seeking since the okra plants started producing. Somehow I always missed the blossoms, which only last a day, not even a day, just the morning.

I'm waiting for my okra plants to blossom too! How old are your plants?

Hi Nate. I purchased these plants in mid June, and they were about 10 inches tall. So best guess is they were seeded sometime in April?

I love okra !! Just today I harvested (on a friend's farm) 10 gallons.... the flowers are so beautiful, it makes me wonder how anyone could not love this veggie.

They look so much like the Hibiscus flower. Beautiful. So glad you were able to catch one.
