Pure Passion Cocktail

- wide rimmed glass (or 2 flutes)
- cocktail shaker
Ingredients
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon chili powder or more to your liking
- ½ teaspoon salt
- lime wedge
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 ounces fresh passion fruit juice or canned
- ½ ounce triple sec (Cointreau or similar)
- 4 ounces brut cava
Instructions
- Combine the sugar, chili powder, and salt in a wide flat plastic container. Set aside.
- Rub the lime wedge around the edge of the glass. Press the rim of the glass into the chili-sugar mix to coat the rim.
- Combine the lime juice, passion fruit juice, and triple sec in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled, then carefully strain into the prepared glass. Top with the brut cava.
