My Mother’s Garden

Print Friendly

A few years ago my mother took her love of gardening to a whole new level. She successfully completed the Master Gardening course through the Clemson University Extension and now volunteers as a Master Gardener. To say that I’m proud of her doesn’t even begin to cover it, and I find myself calling her frequently with gardening questions. It’s good to have a Master Gardener in the family.

In the last few years my father has helped her more and more, and they’ve done some amazing things. Whenever we go for a visit I find myself wandering around look at her flowers and enjoying the beauty she has created.

  1. Wow, your mother does have a lovely garden. I’ve thought seriously about taking a course like that since I’ve been retired.

    • I’ve been thinking about it too, but I’ve still got a few more years before that time comes. In the meantime, I’ll just keep calling her with my questions!

I love reading your comments, thanks for joining the conversation and sharing your thoughts. No advertising, please, or I'll mark it as spam. I try to respond to questions within 1 to 2 business days, but life as a working mom is busy, and sometimes questions require a little research. I try to get to them as quickly as possible. :-)
