This is cool – I told my niece I would cook with her when I visit next. I will have to check it out and get it for her. Thanks!

I remember reading about those girls awhile back. Good for them for making a cookbook.

  3. Andrea, this is great. My daughter will love it. I’ll have to let her browse this weekend.

Kid’s cookbooks have sure come a long way from what I grew up on. And, video demonstrations as well! I just posted an essay on children’s cookbooks of the 50s and 60s on http://www.culinarytypes.com. Glad to see that vegetarian and seasonal foods are now much more prominent.

Didn’t know about this site…it should be perfect for my teen nephew who is learning to cook. Thank you, thank you!

Chris, Inge, Elle, I’m sure the kids will enjoy the site! My oldest really enjoys it and tells me how to make everything now. :)

TW, I like your essay on children’s cookbooks! It is amazing how cookbooks for both children and adults have changed since the 50s and 60s. I have a few old cookbooks, and I have to say that I like the the newer style with color photos, but I can still find good recipes in the older books as well.
